Waffles & Pancakes

It's summer and I'm gonna be giving some quick and easy recipes that you're gonna love. One of them is this recipe which you can use to make either waffles or pancakes (the recipe remains the same, it's just the shape that changes).

This recipe yields 3-4 mini waffles or 2 pancakes.

Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup flour
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 egg (you can beat a whole egg and use half)
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add the milk, egg, butter and vanilla extract. Mix well and beat out the lumps.
  3. Pour the batter into a preheated waffle maker and cook until done. For pancakes, heat a lightly greased pan. Pour the batter and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip and cook the other side until it becomes golden brown.
  4. Serve with toppings of your choice! You can use honey, maple syrup, fruits - even a scoop of ice cream topped with chocolate syrup!

Notes: Yea I have no notes for this one. Just gonna say that for 3/4 cup you can use 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup (trust me A LOT of people don't know this one.....C'mon people! This is where fourth grade math comes in handy!)
