Italian Hot Chocolate
The cold is setting in and I know many of you are shivering in your blankets - so it's time to bring out my recipe for the best and thickest hot chocolate you have ever tasted! It's a pretty straightforward recipe, although you need to put in some work - but trust me, it's gonna be worth it. This is LOADS better than just powder and water.

This recipe yields 2 servings.
Ingredients:
• Finely chopped dark chocolate
• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
Method:
- In a bowl, combine a bit of milk with the cornstarch and set it aside.
- Add the chocolate and a splash of milk to a saucepan and heat it over medium heat.
- Whisk in the sugar and cocoa powder. Continue to whisk until all the chocolate has melted.
- Once the chocolate has melted, stir in the rest of the milk.
- Once the milk is hot, add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan.
- Heat the hot chocolate and stir constantly until it starts to thicken.
And we're done! Pour into a mug and serve hot with whipped cream! (It tastes good on its own as well)
I hope you all love this recipe as much as I do. Wishing you all a very, merry Christmas!
